Cruz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ninja on his heels. He'll look to pass Ninja's guard now, I'm sure.

Ninja is looking to stand up but Cruz isn't so interested in that idea.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ninja wants to stand but Cruz is controlling the position.

Ninja is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Cruz is working to tighten his grip on Ninja's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ninja has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cruz is really squeezing tight and eventually Ninja passes out! Cruz breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
