Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Fuentes (ranked 161 p4p, 212 weight class) and Apollo Aarnio (ranked 23 p4p, 33 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pedro Fuentes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Apollo Aarnio!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuentes moves out of range of the strikes.
Fuentes throws a jab but it's blocked by Aarnio.
Fuentes is looking to land body kicks.
Aarnio looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fuentes throws out a loose jab but Aarnio uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fuentes feints and then cracks Aarnio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aarnio down.
Aarnio drops his hands momentarily and Fuentes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Apollo Aarnio has been cut.
A head kick misses from Fuentes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aarnio looks to land a combination but Fuentes avoids it well.
Fuentes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fuentes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuentes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fuentes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A nice leg kick from Aarnio, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fuentes takes one on the button.
It looks like Pedro Fuentes has been cut.
Aarnio ducks under a wild hook from Fuentes.
Aarnio takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Aarnio throws a right hand that misses
and Fuentes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fuentes lands with a right hand.
Aarnio takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Aarnio.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Aarnio! But no joy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuentes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aarnio drops his hands momentarily and Fuentes needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Aarnio just on the top of the head. Aarnio drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Aarnio - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pedro Fuentes!
Our winner, Pedro Fuentes, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
