Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shogun Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barnes throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
A head kick from Silva lands but Barnes takes it in his stride.

Barnes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Barnes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barnes passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barnes lands a nice short elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barnes scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Silva is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Barnes can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
