Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Kruger (ranked 4292 p4p, 3793 weight class) and Ioan Jacobowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 488 weight class). Ioan Jacobowitz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse Kruger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ioan Jacobowitz! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Chris Dean and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kruger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jacobowitz regains half guard. Jacobowitz is looking for a sweep. Kruger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kruger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobowitz is looking to control Kruger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jacobowitz avoid being mounted? Kruger working over Jacobowitz with some ground and pound. Jacobowitz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jacobowitz tries to get to full guard but Kruger has control of the leg. Jacobowitz has hold of Kruger's hands but Kruger slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kruger wants to free his trapped foot but Jacobowitz is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jacobowitz controlling the position well. Kruger with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jacobowitz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kruger is working away from the top position though. Kruger is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobowitz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jacobowitz actively working from the bottom here. Kruger tries to pass to full mount but Jacobowitz defends it. Kruger working over Jacobowitz with some ground and pound. Jacobowitz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jacobowitz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kruger scores with a couple of nice shots. Kruger is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jacobowitz is trying to get back to full guard. Kruger wants to work for an arm triangle but Jacobowitz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jacobowitz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jacobowitz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kruger is posturing up here but Jacobowitz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kruger tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kruger has to tap! Slick submission there by Jacobowitz!
