The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
St Pierre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dixon gets a takedown into half guard.
St Pierre avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dixon.
St Pierre flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Dixon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dixon is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon is in a horrible position here. St Pierre smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dixon is bucking up trying to escape but St Pierre cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
St Pierre lands a nice shot to the head.
Dixon flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
St Pierre unloading with bombs!
Dixon is rocked!
Dixon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dixon is still in real trouble! Can St Pierre finish him?
St Pierre loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dixon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from St Pierre land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. St Pierre stands and salutes the crowd.
