Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dalinar Kholin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Carter!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kholin is looking to land body kicks.
Carter throws a half hearted mid kick.
Carter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kholin.
Carter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Carter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kholin.
Carter tries to bum rush Kholin with a series of wild strikes but Kholin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kholin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kholin pushes Carter away with a front kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Carter. Kholin shrugs it off though.
Kholin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Carter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Michael Carter has been cut.
Kholin throws the kick towards the body but Carter avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kholin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Carter looks winded!
Kholin throws a body kick that misses.
Kholin cracks Carter with an open hand slap.
Dalinar Kholin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kholin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Carter now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kholin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carter sprawling to the canvas! Carter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kholin finish him?!
Carter is rocked!
Kholin is stalking Carter. Carter circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Kholin, and it's lights out! Carter really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dalinar Kholin!
