Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abigg Chungus!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chungus darts in looking for a takedown but Diamond gets double underhooks and turns Chungus into the cage.

Diamond closes the distance and clinches.

Diamond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chungus throws out a loose jab but Diamond uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chungus moves in looking to clinch but Diamond pushes him off.
Some wild striking there from Chungus.
Chungus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diamond defends it nicely.
Diamond misses with a wild combination.
Diamond pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chungus back to the cage. Diamond follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Diamond fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chungus, pushing him back against the cage.
Chungus is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Diamond avoiding damage.
Chungus misses with a hook from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right from Chungus on the inside.

Diamond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diamond takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Diamond looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chungus tries to clinch but Diamond is having none of it.
Diamond moves away from the strike by Chungus.
Chungus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Diamond. Diamond circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like James Diamond has been cut.
Diamond throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Chungus takes one to the side of the head.
Chungus throws a jab but it's blocked by Diamond.
Diamond throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Chungus colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Diamond as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Chungus is left battered and dazed whilst Diamond and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Diamond!
During a confident post fight interview, James Diamond thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
