Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Beard (ranked 2934 p4p, 1899 weight class) and Colton Wilder (ranked 336 p4p, 238 weight class). Wilder has chosen The Good, The Bad, The Ugly as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarrod Beard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colton Wilder!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beard dives in and scores a takedown into Wilder's guard.
Wilder controlling Beard's posture.
Beard trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wilder has his hands on Beard's head, controlling the position.
Beard's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wilder looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wilder has control of Beard's left arm, preventing Beard from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Beard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Wilder dives in and grabs Beard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beard pushes down on Wilder's head and hops out.
Wilder shoots in and bounces Beard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilder's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Wilder forces his way into half guard.
Wilder is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Wilder is nestled in close to Beard, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wilder takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Wilder slips a nice elbow through Beard's hands, connecting with Beard's forehead.

A lull in the action here as Wilder stalls from top position.
Beard is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wilder scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beard to see if he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilder works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Beard wants to control but Wilder postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beard takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Wilder landing strikes.

Beard tries to improve position but can't.
Wilder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wilder is looking to take a break and control but Beard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wilder cracks Beard with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Wilder scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Beard is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wilder can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
