The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

De Moncey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
De Moncey darts in looking for a takedown but Pollock gets double underhooks and turns De Moncey into the cage.
Pollock lands a left hand that snaps the head of De Moncey backwards.
De Moncey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pollock fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bon Adrien De Moncey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Moncey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pollock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits De Monceys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Pollock stuffs the takedown attempt from De Moncey. De Moncey gets slowly back to his feet.

De Moncey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pollock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! De Moncey scrambles back to his feet.
Pollock cracks De Moncey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
