Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Braxton Inganno (ranked 4434 p4p, 5066 weight class) and Ricky Chan (ranked 443 p4p, 467 weight class). Ricky Chan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Braxton Inganno ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Chan! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Inganno , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Inganno lands a jab to the head.
Chan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Inganno misses the shot to the body. Inganno blocks a head kick by Chan.
Inganno closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chan to the mat! Chan manages to get full guard. Inganno throws a big elbow that misses. Inganno landing with the ground and pound. Inganno drops back looking for a leg! Chan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chan manages to kick Inganno off! Inganno jumps back into Chan's guard. Inganno controlling from the top position. Inganno drops back looking for a leg! Chan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chan manages to kick Inganno off! Inganno jumps back into Chan's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan controls Inganno momentarily but Inganno frees himself. Chan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Inganno . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chan trying to strike off his back.
Inganno is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chan wants to sweep but no luck. Inganno postures up in Chan's guard and throws a big left but Chan blocks it. Inganno makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Inganno postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Chan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Inganno is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inganno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Inganno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Inganno stands up over Chan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Inganno forces his way into half guard. Inganno looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Inganno is trying for a kimura here. Chan looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Inganno wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Braxton Inganno !
