Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Aku Serronen!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson dives in for a single leg takedown but Serronen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Peterson throws a head punch that misses.
Peterson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Serronen backwards.

Peterson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Peterson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Serronen on the side of the head.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Peterson!
Serronen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Serronen looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Serronen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've been hearing that Peterson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Serronen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Serronen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Peterson manages to get himself to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peterson is trying to control the position but Serronen postures up.
Serronen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Peterson's guard.
Serronen is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Serronen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Peterson!

Peterson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Peterson wants to control but Serronen is having none of it.

Serronen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Peterson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Peterson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Serronen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Peterson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Serronen slips an arm under Peterson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Serronen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Serronen is squeezing on Peterson like an anaconda would it's prey. Peterson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
