Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bony Gomez (ranked 5295 p4p, 4085 weight class) and Primoz Benko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benko misses with a left hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gomez lands a jab.
Benko drives through and clinches with Gomez against the cage.

Benko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Benko's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Gomez tries to work over Benko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Benko will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gomez up against the cage.

Benko is stalling here. Gomez is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Benko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gomez has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
