Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Elidio Fana (ranked 4569 p4p, 4499 weight class) and Saul Tacarante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Saul Tacarante will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elidio Fana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Tacarante!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tacarante scores with the left hand. Fana knows he should have avoided that one.
Tacarante lands with an overhand left.
Tacarante throws out a loose jab but Fana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fana scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A big left from Fana misses.
Fana works over Tacarante's head and body with a nice combination.
Tacarante bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fana throws an off balance right hand
enabling Tacarante to counter with a crisp jab.
Fana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tacarante manages to avoid it.
Tacarante is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fana.
An attempted straight right counter from Fana misses the target.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tacarante fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fana tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fana lands an uppercut.
Fana misses with a body punch.
Fana doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fana misses with some punches.
Fana lands a nice uppercut.
Tacarante blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fana escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fana pushes Tacarante up against the cage in a clinch.
Fana tries to work over Tacarante's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A nice left hand lands by Fana.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tacarante can't get the takedown.
Fana lands an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tacarante is looking to take this one to the mat.
Elidio Fana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Tacarante.
Tacarante tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fana just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tacarante gets control of Fana's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tacarante will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Tacarante is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fana has his hands clasped together but Tacarante extends and breaks Fana's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tacarante.
