Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Axl Cailean (ranked 1634 p4p, 2950 weight class) and Bo Lin (ranked 250 p4p, 392 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Axl Cailean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bo Lin!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Bo Lin has been cut.
Lin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lin misses with a double jab.
Cailean changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lin on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cailean swings for the body but Lin moves out of range.
Cailean drives through and clinches with Lin against the ropes.

Cailean feints and then cracks Lin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lin down.

Lin loads up on a big right hand but Cailean slips the punch.

Lin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cailean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lin is looking to control Cailean's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lin avoid being mounted?

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cailean creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cailean is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lin's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lin seems to have recovered his senses.
Lin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cailean controls the position.
Lin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cailean wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cailean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cailean wants to control but Lin is keeping him busy.
Lin is looking to regain half guard here but Cailean keeps moving and retains side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A lazy left from Lin finds it's target.
You can see that Lin has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Cailean buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cailean forces Lin back against the ropes and clinches.
Cailean is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lin can do to turn this around?

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Lin pushes Cailean away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cailean gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Cailean moves away from the strike by Lin.
Cailean rushes Lin with punches - Lin moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Lin goes down! Cailean follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
