Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Victor (ranked 567 p4p, 599 weight class) and Verneri Ahma (ranked 88 p4p, 94 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Victor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Verneri Ahma!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Victor to score with a decent uppercut.
Victor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ahma.
Ahma drives through and clinches with Victor against the cage.
Victor tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ahma smiles and moves away.
Victor throws a body punch but Ahma moves out of range.
Victor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ahma looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Victor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ahma was well out of range. Poor timing from Victor.
Ahma lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Victor takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ahma fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ahma slips under a jab from Victor.
Ahma throws a leg kick but Victor sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Ahma escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ahma swings away with a leg kick that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Victor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ahma throws a looping overhand right but Victor ducks down to avoid it.

Victor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ahma has time to react.
Ahma pushes Victor up against the cage in a clinch.
Ahma has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Victor clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Ahma controlling well, preventing Victor from escaping the position.
Ahma just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ahma has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Victor's body.
Let's hope that Ahma has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

You can see the frustration on Victor's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Victor dives in for a single leg takedown but Ahma sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Caio Victor will probably get the nod.

Verneri Ahma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ahma has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
