Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Callwell (ranked 4605 p4p, 3751 weight class) and Vladimir Pavlovic (ranked 551 p4p, 487 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Callwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Vladimir Pavlovic! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Callwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pavlovic but Pavlovic pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pavlovic lands the left hand. Pavlovic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pavlovic slaps away a takedown attempt from Callwell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Callwell misses with a wild body shot. Pavlovic darts in and clinches Callwell up against the cage. Pavlovic stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Callwell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pavlovic feints and then cracks Callwell's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Callwell down. Pavlovic looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Callwell shoots for a takedown but Pavlovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pavlovic was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. That's one minute gone in the round. Callwell throws a nice looking combination but Pavlovic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Good leg kick by Pavlovic. Callwell tries to clinch but Pavlovic moves out of range. Callwell shoots in but no luck this time. Callwell seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Let's hope that Pavlovic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Pavlovic is looking to work some ground and pound but Callwell has wrist control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Callwell shoots for a takedown but Pavlovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pavlovic was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Callwell with a poor takedown and Pavlovic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pavlovic thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Callwell if he has to take too many more of those.

Pavlovic lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Pavlovic thuds his shin into the meat of Callwell's side. Pavlovic throws a good cross that connects.

Callwell is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pavlovic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Oh Callwell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Callwell seems to have got his legs back now. Pavlovic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pavlovic throws a leg kick which misses Callwell's front leg but catches the back leg as Callwell tries to avoid it. Henry Callwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Callwell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pavlovic pinned against the cage. Pavlovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pavlovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pavlovic prevents Callwell from getting back to his feet.

Perhaps he's looking to stall. Callwell stands up and waves to Pavlovic to follow him. Henry Callwell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Callwell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pavlovic as he avoids it easily. Callwell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pavlovic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Callwell somewhat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Pavlovic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Callwell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pavlovic. Pavlovic lands a head kick. Callwell smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pavlovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Callwell is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Pavlovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pavlovic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Callwell defends well and Pavlovic ends up having to push Callwell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Callwell is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Callwell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pavlovic counters with a nice uppercut. Pavlovic has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pavlovic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Callwell in his tracks. Pavlovic moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Callwell breaks from the clinch.
BOOM! Pavlovic lands a beautiful left hook that drops Callwell. Callwell tries to recover but Pavlovic is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Callwell lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
