Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Barbano (ranked 4088 p4p, 3363 weight class) and Pasha Kislyak (ranked 434 p4p, 383 weight class). Barbano comes to the cage accompanied by Tevvez - Glimmer of hope. Pasha Kislyak will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Barbano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Kislyak! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Barbano misses. Barbano seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Barbano throws a right and a left that both miss. Barbano connects with a nice looking jab.
Kislyak blocks a jab. Barbano misses with a double jab.
Kislyak fails with a takedown attempt. Barbano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kislyak counters with a single leg into guard. Barbano didn't expect that. Kislyak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barbano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barbano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kislyak on the ground. Kislyak postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barbano is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kislyak, into his guard.
Barbano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kislyak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barbano has managed to get both his arms back between Kislyak's legs - danger averted. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That's one minute gone in the round. Barbano has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kislyak to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Barbano is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kislyak pulls down on the head and he's put Barbano to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pasha Kislyak!
