The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uesugi misses with a body kick.
Valentinovich is looking to clinch.

Valentinovich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uesugi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Uesugi thinks about countering with a body kick.
Uesugi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Uesugi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Valentinovich, pushing him back against the cage.
Uesugi drags the fight down to the ground.
Uesugi pushes a forearm under Valentinovich's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Valentinovich is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
