Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonatane Veainu (ranked 395 p4p, 632 weight class) and Rav Kapur (ranked 61 p4p, 91 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sonatane Veainu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Rav Kapur! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kapur misses with a takedown attempt - Veainu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Veainu scores with a jab to the body. Kapur darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Veainu keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Veainu wants to get back to full guard but Kapur has mounted him! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Veainu is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kapur trying to control but Veainu is having none of it. Kapur has control of Veainu's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Veainu regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kapur moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Veainu has worked his arm free - good work by Veainu!
Veainu is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Kapur goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Veainu has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kapur but great work by Veainu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Veainu content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kapur gets back to half guard. Kapur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Veainu is working away from the top position though. Kapur is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Veainu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Veainu's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Veainu defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Kapur is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Veainu knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Veainu for a finish. Veainu tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Veainu working to try and regain half guard.
Veainu has left one of his arms exposed and Kapur doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Veainu screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rav Kapur! Our winner, Rav Kapur, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
