Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinichiro Tomonaga (ranked 849 p4p, 2354 weight class) and Guy Bernier (ranked 53 p4p, 147 weight class). Bernier is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stranglehold/ Ted Nugent. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Guy Bernier!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Tomonaga as he checks the leg kick.
Tomonaga throws a big counter combination but Bernier scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bernier feints and then cracks Tomonaga's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tomonaga down.
Bernier connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tomonaga. Tomonaga circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bernier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tomonaga moves away.
Tomonaga takes one to the side of the head.
Bernier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Shinichiro Tomonaga has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Tomonaga.
Bernier throws a leg kick but Tomonaga sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bernier throws an overhand right that lands on Tomonaga's shoulder, as Tomonaga tries to avoid the shot.
Bernier misses with a jab to the body
and Tomonaga connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Guy Bernier has been cut.
Bernier throws a lazy right hand but Tomonaga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tomonaga appears to be looking for a big counter.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bernier.
Tomonaga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gorilla Gym in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bernier misses with a series of wild punches.

and Tomonaga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bernier throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tomonaga.
A combination from Bernier does no damage.
A quick step to the side and Tomonaga tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bernier takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A low kick from Bernier is predictable there
and Tomonaga counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Good exchange - Bernier coming out on top.
A bone on bone clash there as Tomonaga blocks the leg kick.
Tomonaga is looking for a counter combo.
Guy Bernier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tomonaga moves out of range of the strikes.
It looked like Tomonaga was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bernier throws a combination. Tomonaga tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bernier lands a body shot.
Bernier scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bernier throws a sloppy body shot
and Tomonaga counters with a crisp one two that drops Bernier! Tomonaga thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bernier to his feet! Bernier is in big trouble!

Bernier misses the shot to the body.
Bernier is still on wobbly legs! Can Tomonaga finish him?

and Tomonaga counters with a huge right that knocks Bernier out cold! Tomonaga is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After winning the bout, Shinichiro Tomonaga thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
