The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punter swings widly with a right hand
and Punter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Jack Punter has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Punter.
Mies moves in looking to clinch but Punter pushes him off.
Punter misses with a left hand
and Mies counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Punter is rocked!
Mies dodges the punch combination from Punter.

Punter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mies to the ground. Punter is now in Mies's guard.
Punter lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Mies looking for a sweep. Not yet Mies, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Punter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Punter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mies bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Punter's guard.

Mies gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Mies moves to clinch but Punter breaks away
and Punter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've been told by Punter's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mies takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Punter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mies manages to avoid it.
Mies misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mies looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Punter avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Mies swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Punter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mies lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Punter misses with a hook.

and Mies counters with a straight right hand.
Mies rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Punter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mies swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Punter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mies scores with a decent looking hook.
Oh Punter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mies lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
