Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Lawler (ranked 24946 p4p, 4957 weight class) and Novak Stack (ranked 609 p4p, 540 weight class). Lawler comes to the cage accompanied by Donna Summer - I Feel Love. On his way into the cage it seems that Rick Lawler has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rick Lawler seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stack with a poor takedown
and Lawler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lawler lands a high kick!

Stack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stack drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stack jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lawler wants to stand but Stack is controlling the position.

Stack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Stack has hold of Lawler's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lawler seems comfortable defending it but Stack has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lawler is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lawler is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Stack couldn't care less - he's delighted!
