Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Little (ranked 4999 p4p, 4395 weight class) and Nick Mullen (ranked 460 p4p, 442 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Mullen! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Little. Mullen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Little! Mullen is trying to get an arm triangle but Little is defending well. Mullen throws a strike aimed at the side of Little's head but Little avoids it well. Mullen controls the position. Mullen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Little is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Mullen staying calm. Mullen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mullen scoring with punches from side control. Little is trying to get back to his feet. Mullen controlling from side mount. Little is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mullen slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mullen scoring with punches and elbows. Mullen throwing strikes but Little manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Mullen tries to buck Little off but Little is having none of it. Mullen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mullen keeps trying to improve his position. Mullen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Mullen controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Mullen tries to roll over but Little keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullen keeps control of the position for the meantime. Mullen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Little knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mullen on the ground. Mullen moves into full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mullen can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Little is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mullen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Little is looking to defend but Mullen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Little! Mullen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Little taps out and this one is all over!
