Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Bennett (ranked 1687 p4p, 1528 weight class) and Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 239 p4p, 216 weight class). Yuldashev has chosen Лезгинка - Мой нанак as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gage Bennett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Temirbek Yuldashev!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuldashev throws a head kick but Bennett moves out of range.
Yuldashev blocks the body kick.
Yuldashev has Bennett up against the cage in a clinch.
Yuldashev misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bennett lands a shoulder strike.
Bennett misses with the head strike.
Bennett swings wildly with an uppercut but Yuldashev uses good head movement to avoid it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Yuldashev.

Bennett lands with a left to the head.
Yuldashev lands a right hand.
Bennett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Yuldashev.
Bennett doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
I was talking to Bennett's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Yuldashev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bennett tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bennett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yuldashev.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bennett looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yuldashev misses with a hook.
It looked like Bennett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Yuldashev throws a sloppy head kick
and Bennett counters with a straight right hand.

and Yuldashev counters with an outside leg kick.
Bennett throws a leg kick but Yuldashev checks it.
Oooooh!!! Bennett has knocked Yuldashev down with a huge combo! Bennett steps away and waves a wobbly Yuldashev back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Temirbek Yuldashev has been cut.
Bennett has managed to clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yuldashev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bennett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Bennett moves out of range as Yuldashev strikes.
Yuldashev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bennett manages to avoid it.
Bennett moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yuldashev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bennett tries to move into range but Yuldashev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Bennett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yuldashev throws a lazy right hand but Bennett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Yuldashev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bennett swings for the body but Yuldashev moves out of range.
Yuldashev closes the distance and clinches.
Bennett throws a head punch that misses.
Yuldashev misses with a punch on the inside.
Yuldashev blocks a body shot from Bennett.
Bennett throws a punch but it's blocked by Yuldashev.
Bennett throws a head punch that misses.
Bennett throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Yuldashevs head.
Yuldashev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bennett chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bennett throws a combination. Yuldashev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Yuldashev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bennett connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yuldashev. Yuldashev circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Yuldashev is rocked!
Bennett fakes the body blow, causing Yuldashev to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Yuldashev goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gage Bennett!
A relieved looking Gage Bennett thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
