Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Slim Perkins!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perkins has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Wheeler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Perkins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wheeler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Perkins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Wheeler lands with an uppercut that bounces Perkins off the cage and back into range.
A big right from Wheeler misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Slim Perkins dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Perkins works Wheeler's body with a nice hook.

Wheeler walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oh Wheeler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Perkins's corner calls for a 1-2. Perkins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wheeler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Perkins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wheeler scrambles back to his feet.
Perkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wheeler throws out the jab.
Perkins cracks Wheeler with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wheeler falls to his knees and Perkins doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
