Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Wittman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Camarago! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Camarago does no damage. Wittman has a takedown stuffed. Camarago throws a right hand that Wittman ducks under and follows up with a left that Wittman also avoids with ease. Camarago swinging wilding here.
Camarago tries a low kick but Wittman avoids it. Wittman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Camarago.
Wittman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wittman dodges the punch combination from Camarago.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camarago throws a head kick but Wittman moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Camarago. No joy for Wittman on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Wittman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Camarago wants to slow Wittman down by chopping away at his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wittman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wittman is working for a submission of some sort.
Wittman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wittman is trying to work for a kimura but Camarago is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wittman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Camarago is just riding it out for now. Wittman eventually gives up the hold. Wittman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Camarago tries to kick Wittman off but Wittman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wittman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Camarago is not content to let Wittman control the position. Camarago pushes Wittman off looking to stand but Wittman dives back in and keeps control.
Wittman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wittman is looking for a kimura here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Wittman dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Camarago tries to clinch there but Wittman circles away.
Camarago wants to clinch. Camarago throws a head kick but Wittman moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Camarago cracks the inside of Wittman's front leg. Wittman tries for a takedown but Camarago sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Camarago thumps Wittman with a low kick. Camarago throws an overhand right that lands on Wittman's shoulder, as Wittman tries to avoid the shot. Camarago attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Camarago walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wittman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Camarago tries a head kick but it misses.
Camarago is breathing heavily. Camarago fails in his attempt to clinch. Camarago throws a low kick but it's checked well by Wittman. Wittman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Camarago is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wittman is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wittman is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Camarago has managed to free his arm - good work. Wittman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wittman seems to be working for a kimura but Camarago defends the submission attempt. Camarago is defending against the submission attempts here by Wittman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wittman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Camarago is refusing to be controlled, as Wittman sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Wittman dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No joy there for Camarago, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wittman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Camarago tries to avoid it but Wittman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Camarago to the ground. Camarago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Camarago misses with a head kick.
Camarago stuffs the takedown attempt from Wittman. Wittman gets slowly back to his feet. Wittman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wittman trying to control but Camarago is working from the bottom. Wittman has gone for a leg lock! Camarago slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wittman's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Camarago wants to stand but Wittman is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wittman has his feet on Camarago's thighs here. He's pushed Camarago off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Camarago screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
