This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 75 wins and 38 losses; Matvey Pavlov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 8 losses; Jackson Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pavlov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ramirez shoots for a double leg takedown but Pavlov sprawls well. He's pushed Ramirez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ramirez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pavlov defends well and Ramirez ends up having to push Pavlov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ramirez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ramirez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pavlov pinned against the cage. Pavlov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
