The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holmes swivels and escapes.

enabling Holmes to counter with a crisp jab.
Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holmes avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Holmes shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Johnson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Holmes is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Johnson yanks on the arm and Holmes is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Johnson.
