Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Hunt (ranked 1104 p4p, 1991 weight class) and Joey Faolin (ranked 150 p4p, 259 weight class). Faolin has chosen It Ain’t a Crime by House of Pain as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Faolin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hunt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hunt, as that shot connected.

Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Faolin is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hunt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Faolin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Faolin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunt throws out the jab.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Hunt will probably get the nod.

Paul Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hunt backs away from a small jab... but Faolin lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Hunt crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Faolin with a spectacular finish!
