Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cam Cartwright (ranked 3084 p4p, 2656 weight class) and Micka Slice (ranked 416 p4p, 367 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by Karma Chameleon. Slice is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Legend. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Micka Slice!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright with a lazy takedown attempt
and Slice counters with a left to the body.
Cam Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartwright has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Slice displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cartwright.

Cartwright moves into the clinch successfully.

Cartwright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slice defends it easily.
Cartwright is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cartwright winds up and cracks Slice with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cartwright lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Slice down.

Cartwright holds on, trying desperately to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slice has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cartwright to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Slice is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cartwright pulls down on the head and he's put Slice to sleep! This one is all over!
