Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Fro (ranked 3943 p4p, 5595 weight class) and Binsar Siregar (ranked 467 p4p, 547 weight class). Dan Fro has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Fro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Binsar Siregar! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fro throws a head kick but Siregar moves out of range.
Siregar throws a right hand that Fro ducks under and follows up with a left that Fro also avoids with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Fro. Siregar does a little dance to reset his feet. Fro needs to keep his hands up - Siregar had a free shot at his head there. Fro tries a head kick but it misses.
Siregar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fro, pushing him back against the cage. Fro is trying to force a seperation but Siregar has the dominant position. Fro misses with a short punch on the inside. Fro wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Siregar has him pressed against the cage. Still in the clinch, Siregar scores with a nice short uppercut. Siregar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Siregar lands a hook to the side of the head. Fro jumps guard but Siregar stands there with Fro around his waist. Fro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fro tries to break the clinch but Siregar is controlling the position. Siregar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Siregar moves out of range as Fro throws a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siregar clinches up with Fro and pushes him back against the cage. Fro tries to break the clinch but Siregar is controlling the position. Siregar tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fro avoids it. A right hand to the body from Siregar.
Siregar works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Siregar lands a couple of digs. Siregar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Siregar drops back looking for a leg! Fro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fro manages to kick Siregar off! Siregar jumps back into Fro's guard. Fro seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Fro being controlled here, momentarily. Siregar lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fro looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fro is looking for a triangle but Siregar pushes his legs off easily.
Fro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Siregar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Siregar has managed to get both his arms back between Fro's legs - danger averted. Siregar's corner is telling him to maintain position. Siregar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Siregar defends well. Siregar is stalling in the full guard. Fro keeping full guard, as Siregar tries to pass. Fro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Siregar stays in close to Fro's body and controls the position. Fro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Siregar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Siregar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Siregar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Binsar Siregar dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! A head kick misses from Fro. A little jabbing left from Siregar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Siregar wants to counter the offense by Fro and move into the clinch position. Binsar Siregar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fro misses with a kick to the body and Siregar counters with a nice uppercut. Fro swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Siregar counters with a one-two to the body. Fro throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Fro throws a lazy head kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Siregar moves out of range of the strikes. Siregar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Siregar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fro sprawls well initially but Siregar persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Siregar is figuring out what he wants to do next. Siregar drops an elbow to the side of Fro's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fro wants to control but Siregar is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siregar is taking a breather. Fro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Fro on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Siregar drops an elbow to the side of Fro's head. Siregar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Siregar content to control rather than advance. Fro is looking for a sweep. Siregar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fro punching from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Siregar lands a nice short elbow. Fro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Siregar is nestled in close to Fro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Siregar scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Fro wants to control but Siregar passes into side.
Fro is positioning himself to get back to half guard. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. You can see the frustration on Fro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Siregar slows the pace down.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Siregar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Siregar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Siregar is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fro tries to get to full guard but Siregar has control of the leg. Siregar keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Binsar Siregar has got the better of the ground game so far. Fro looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Siregar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Binsar Siregar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Siregar avoids the head kick by Fro.
Nice defenses there by Siregar. Siregar throws a low kick but Fro moves out of range easily. Siregar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fro.
Siregar appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Dan Fro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fro misses with a straight left. Fro throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Siregar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fro is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Siregar asserts his dominance and retains side control. Fro tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fro wants to get back to his feet but Siregar drags him back down. Fro is being controlled here. Fro gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Siregar not doing much here.

Binsar Siregar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Siregar is taking a breather. Fro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight! Binsar Siregar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Siregar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
