This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 15 losses; Tres Sulvar! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 15 losses; Raul Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sulvar is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.
Gracie is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Gracie has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Clark's Champion's. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Sulvar wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.

I really don't envy Gracie right now.
