Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Andrei Sobral (ranked 6081 p4p, 4043 weight class) and Ildefonso Jaquez (ranked 181 p4p, 161 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrei Sobral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ildefonso Jaquez! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobral moves into the clinch. Jaquez misses with a punch on the inside.
Jaquez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sobral breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sobral looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jaquez slips a jab and a cross from Sobral.
Sobral on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sobral has managed to clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jaquez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jaquez tries a body shot but Sobral blocks it.
Jaquez throws a knee to the head but misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sobral - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jaquez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaquez misses with a body punch.
Jaquez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sobral's elbow. Sobral manages to break the clinch.
Jaquez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobral tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jaquez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jaquez throws a head kick that misses. Jaquez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sobral is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jaquez cracks Sobral with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Jaquez circles away from the clinch attempt and Jaquez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jaquez slips under a jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Sobral looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A nice side step and Jaquez releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Jab by Jaquez. A lazy left from Sobral finds it's target.
It looks like Ildefonso Jaquez has been cut. Jaquez plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jaquez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sobral scores with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sobral has managed to clinch.

Sobral swings wildly with an uppercut but Jaquez uses good head movement to avoid it. Jaquez with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Jaquez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sobral blocks it with crossed arms. Sobral stalling against the ropes.
Jaquez throws a head punch that misses. Jaquez misses with a body punch.
Sobral's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sobral throws a nice looking combination but Jaquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sobral tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jaquez lands a body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ildefonso Jaquez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ildefonso Jaquez's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Jaquez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Jaquez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Ildefonso Jaquez seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jaquez throws a sloppy head kick and Sobral moves out of range easily. Sobral forces Jaquez back against the ropes and clinches. Jaquez tries to work over Sobral's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jaquez tries to land a knee to the head but Sobral blocks with his arms.

Sobral lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jaquez with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Sobral throws a right and a left that both miss. Sobral misses with a double jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A slow jab from Jaquez misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaquez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sobral on the side of the head. Jaquez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sobral is rocked! Sobral walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Jaquez! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
