Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Donnamer! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Griffin does no damage. Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Donnamer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Donnamer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Donnamer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Donnamer decides to take the fight back to the feet. No joy there for Griffin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Donnamer shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Donnamer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A combination from Griffin does no damage. Griffin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Donnamer is rocked! Donnamer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Donnamer is still on wobbly legs! Can Griffin finish him? Griffin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Griffin does no damage. Donnamer seems to have recovered his senses. Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Donnamer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Griffin is breathing heavily. Griffin throws a hook but Donnamer blocks it. Donnamer slips a jab and a cross from Griffin.
Rashad Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Griffin misses with a two punch combination.
Donnamer closes the distance and clinches. Donnamer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Griffin can't fight it off and eventually Donnamer manages to take the fight to the floor. Griffin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Donnamer passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donnamer working the ground and pound. Griffin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Donnamer is controlling him well. Donnamer stands up. Donnamer dodges the punch combination from Griffin.
Griffin misses with a few strikes there.

Griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Griffin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Griffin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Griffin drops Donnamer with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Donnamer! Griffin dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
