This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Volodymyr Kersikov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Gregory Hoffman!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kersikov is defended easily by Hoffman.
Hoffman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Kersikov fails with a takedown attempt.
Kersikov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoffman sprawls well. Hoffman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kersikov gets slowly back to his feet.
And Hoffman tries to counter it with a takedown but Kersikov pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Hoffman has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
