The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lucan clinches up with Nogueira and pushes him back against the cage.

Nogueira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lucan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nogueira keeps working.
Nogueira tries to buck Lucan off but Lucan is having none of it.
Lucan is working to tighten his grip on Nogueira's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nogueira has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lucan is really squeezing tight and eventually Nogueira passes out! Lucan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
