Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jj b (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rai Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jj b has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jj b! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rai Costa! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says b as he avoids it easily. A big head kick from Costa and b is sent sprawling to the canvas!
It looks like jj b has been cut. b has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Costa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Costa wants to stand but b has a closed guard, so he can't escape. b controls Costa momentarily but Costa frees himself. b working for a triangle but Costa defends it easily.
Costa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! b is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. b manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
b trying to control but Costa is having none of it. b misses with a head shot. b looking to ground and pound but Costa is blocking nicely. b looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. b looking to finish with strikes here!
Costa can't escape the position.
Costa wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by b.
b prevents Costa from getting the reversal. b with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
b pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. b thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. b throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Costa tries to hold on but b postures up. Costa is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
b goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Costa is on top in guard.
b is breathing heavily. b is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Costa wants to stand but b has a closed guard, so he can't escape. b looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
b working for submissions but it's allowed Costa to get to half guard.
Costa is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that jj b will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on jj b's cut. That's time! b's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Costa throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Rai Costa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick lands from Costa that sends b to the canvas. b tries to scramble back to his feet but Costa brings him back down into side control.
b is rocked! b has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This has been an exciting period of action! b is looking for a sweep. Oh b is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Costa stands up. Costa feints a jab and as b dips his head, Costa unleashes a brutal head kick that catches b right on the jaw! Timbeeer! b falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Costa smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rai Costa!
