The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Petrov gets tackled into the cage by Linguini. Linguini maintains the clinch.

Petrov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Linguini's guard.
Linguini is staying active underneath Petrov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Petrov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Linguini defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Petrov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Petrov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Linguini is just riding it out for now. Petrov eventually gives up the hold.
