Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, li Wang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Erih Kalan!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang shoots for a takedown but Kalan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wang clinches up against the cage.
Wang is looking to break free of the clinch but Kalan has double underhooks.
Kalan gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Wang regains guard.
Wang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kalan is aware though and is defending well.
Kalan stands up over Wang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kalan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kalan trying to control the position from guard on top but Wang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kalan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wang's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kalan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Wang covers up, he's hurt! Kalan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kalan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kalan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erih Kalan!
After winning the bout, Erih Kalan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
