PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 24388 p4p, 24571 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kugus Amiga has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kugus Amiga seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga tries for a takedown but Salvacion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it.

Salvacion might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Amiga haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Amiga lands a nice short elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Salvacion is continuing to stall.
Amiga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salvacion is working away from the top position though.

Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amiga's waist but Amiga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side.

I would just about give that final round to Richard John Salvacion.
