Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurki Potku (ranked 379 p4p, 602 weight class) and Hunt Mfer (ranked 57 p4p, 87 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurki Potku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunt Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer throws out a loose jab but Potku uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mfer with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Mfer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Potku swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Potku looks to throw the jab but Mfer is out of range.
Potku takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mfer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Potku at a distance.
Potku tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mfer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mfer throws a hook to the side of Potku's head but Potku sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Potku throws a body punch but Mfer moves out of range.
Mfer connects with a nice looking jab.
Mfer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Potku connects with a right hand. Mfer shakes it off.
We've been hearing reports that Potku has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A slow jab from Potku misses its intended target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mfer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mfer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Potku tries to clinch up but Mfer pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Potku to the mat! Potku covers up and Mfer unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
