Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samak Ruenroeng (ranked 772 p4p, 2022 weight class) and Chase Buchanan (ranked 48 p4p, 113 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buchanan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ruenroeng stalks Buchanan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Buchanan's face. Buchanan staggers backwards, shaken.

Buchanan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The crowd cheers as Ruenroeng lands an impressive looking overhand right. Buchanan doesn't seem phased though.

That kick from Ruenroeng tenderised Buchanan's leg. Buchanan is trying to keep his angry face on.

A very excited looking Samak Ruenroeng rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
