Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Ryan (ranked 1437 p4p, 1130 weight class) and Doko Dokov (ranked 193 p4p, 168 weight class). This should be fireworks!

With a record of 18 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doko Dokov!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dokov darts in and clinches Ryan up against the cage.
Dokov misses with a punch on the inside.
Ryan tries to break the clinch but Dokov is controlling the position.
Dokov lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dokov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Dokov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Dokov is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ryan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dokov to the mat. Dokov regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ryan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ryan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dokov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ryan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dokov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dokov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ryan eats them both and turns towards Dokov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dokov shoots in looking for a takedown but Ryan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dokov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dokov's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ryan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dokov wants to control but Ryan is having none of it.

Ryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dokov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dokov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ryan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dokov.

I would just about give that final round to Doko Dokov.
