Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abdo Farah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William S Burroughs!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like William S Burroughs has been cut.
We've been told by Farah's head coaches at King's Cross MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Burroughs shoots and misses
and Farah counters with a straight right hand.
Farah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burroughs was well out of range. Poor timing from Farah.
Burroughs takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Burroughs is rocked!
Burroughs switches off momentarily and Farah cracks him with a monster right hand! Burroughs topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Farah dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Farah!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abdo Farah!
An out of breath Abdo Farah thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
