And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Bostic!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowan throws a jab but it's blocked by Bostic.
Bostic swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cowan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Michael Bostic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cowan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cowan lands a big head kick that sends Bostic tumbling to the mat! Cowan takes a step backwards and waves Bostic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bostic is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cowan cracks Bostic with a left hook right on the temple and Bostic goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Cowan lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bostic is OK!

A relieved looking Mickey Cowan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
