Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Reaper (ranked 2670 p4p, 1555 weight class) and Boris Yeltsin Jr (ranked 144 p4p, 85 weight class). Jake Reaper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Reaper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Yeltsin Jr!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeltsin Jr works over Reaper's head and body with a nice combination.
Jab, jab by Reaper - just one landing.
Yeltsin Jr checks a low kick from Reaper.

Yeltsin Jr has Reaper up against the cage in a clinch.
Reaper softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Reaper lands a hook to the side of the head.
Yeltsin Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reaper smiles and moves away.
Yeltsin Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Yeltsin Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reaper tries to avoid it but Yeltsin Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reaper to the ground. Reaper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yeltsin Jr forces Reaper back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reaper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reaper throws a looping overhand right but Yeltsin Jr ducks down to avoid it.
Reaper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Reaper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yeltsin Jr.
Jake Reaper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Yeltsin Jr.
Yeltsin Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reaper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Reaper half committed to a counter leg kick.
Jake Reaper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reaper lands a nice hook to Yeltsin Jr's body. Yeltsin Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Yeltsin Jr has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Yeltsin Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Reaper defends well and Yeltsin Jr ends up having to push Reaper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Reaper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yeltsin Jr moves away.

Yeltsin Jr shoots in but Reaper avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little feinted left hand from Reaper on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Yeltsin Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yeltsin Jr ducks under a wild hook from Reaper.
Reaper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yeltsin Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Reaper.
Reaper tests Yeltsin Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yeltsin Jr throws a leg kick but Reaper sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Reaper thinks about countering with a body kick.
Yeltsin Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Reaper ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Reaper looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Boris Yeltsin Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yeltsin Jr shoots in but no luck this time.

Yeltsin Jr moves in looking to clinch but Reaper pushes him off.

Yeltsin Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Yeltsin Jr rushes Reaper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yeltsin Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Yeltsin Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Yeltsin Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Reaper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reaper misses with a low kick as Yeltsin Jr jumps back.
Yeltsin Jr fails in his attempt to clinch.

Yeltsin Jr tries to land a body kick
and Reaper counters with a low kick, right behind Yeltsin Jr 's knee.
Yeltsin Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reaper tries to avoid it but Yeltsin Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reaper to the ground. Reaper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Yeltsin Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Yeltsin Jr moves to clinch but Reaper breaks away
and Yeltsin Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reaper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yeltsin Jr dives in for a single leg takedown but Reaper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
An attempted straight right counter from Reaper misses the target.
Some wild striking there from Yeltsin Jr.
It looked like Reaper was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Yeltsin Jr.
Reaper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Reaper dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yeltsin Jr blocks a body shot from Reaper.
Reaper throws a head punch that misses.

Reaper lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Reaper goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Reaper tries to work over Yeltsin Jr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Despite the aggression on Yeltsin Jr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Reaper lands with a hook. Yeltsin Jr tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Yeltsin Jr is rocked!
Reaper circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Yeltsin Jr to the canvas! Yeltsin Jr doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Reaper keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Reaper!
