Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rade Franjic (ranked 699 p4p, 757 weight class) and Kurt Zweihander (ranked 101 p4p, 108 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rade Franjic! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Zweihander! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zweihander throws a body punch but Franjic moves out of range. Franjic is looking to counter punch. Zweihander looks to land a combination but Franjic avoids it well. Franjic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Franjic there as he acknowledges the shot. Franjic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Zweihander throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Franjic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A jab from Zweihander misses. We've been told by Franjic's head coaches at DC Dragon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zweihander throws an overhand right that lands on Franjic's shoulder, as Franjic tries to avoid the shot. Franjic throwing a counter right hand but Zweihander manages to avoid it. Franjic swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zweihander slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Franjic throws a poor cross that misses
and Zweihander counters with a crisp right hand that drops Franjic! Zweihander lets Franjic back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Rade Franjic has been cut. Franjic moves out of range as Zweihander strikes. It looked like Franjic was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Zweihander. A shot to the body from Franjic misses and Zweihander counters with a nice uppercut. Zweihander swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Franjic on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franjic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Franjic. Zweihander does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franjic scores with a jab. Zweihander acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Kurt Zweihander has been cut. Zweihander throws a body shot but no joy. Zweihander has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A big right from Zweihander misses. Franjic swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Zweihander misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Franjic.
A swing and a miss from Zweihander. Zweihander cracks Franjic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Zweihander misses with a straight right. A quick step to the side and Franjic tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Franjic moves out of range as Zweihander strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Franjic sends Zweihander crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Franjic is motioning to the referee to let Zweihander up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Zweihander is rocked! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Franjic moves in close and cracks Zweihander with a massive right hand! Zweihander, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Franjic!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rade Franjic! Rade Franjic retains his heavyweight title! Rade Franjic seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
