And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terrell Damian!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayanagi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Damian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takayanagi somewhat.
Takayanagi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Takayanagi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damian is fending him off so far but Takayanagi persists. Nope, Damian circles away and we're back to standing.
Takayanagi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Damian throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Damian ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
