Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zach De La Roca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Choker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Roca comes into the arena with Rage Against The Machine: Know Your Enemy blaring out of the sound system. Choker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Taking Over kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roy Choker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zach De La Roca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Choker! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
De La Roca moves in looking to clinch but Choker pushes him off. Choker shoots in looking for a takedown. De La Roca tries to sprawl out of it but Choker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De La Roca manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Roy Choker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De La Roca rushes Choker and presses him up against the cage. Choker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Choker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
De La Roca lands a left hand that snaps the head of Choker backwards. De La Roca is trying to stall.
Choker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. De La Roca just stands there and leans against the cage. Zach De La Roca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Choker. Choker gets control of De La Roca's arms and successfully pulls guard. Choker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Choker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Choker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but De La Roca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Choker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Choker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take De La Roca's back instead. De La Roca tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Choker misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

De La Roca slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

De La Roca will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Choker looks gassed! De La Roca lands on the inside with an uppercut. Choker jumps guard and drags De La Roca to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Choker looking to sweep here. De La Roca throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Choker. Choker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. De La Roca sprawls well initially but Choker persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Choker prevents De La Roca from improving his position. Choker is looking for a kimura but De La Roca is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Choker to get the leverage. Choker passes to full mount! Choker jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… De La Roca is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by De La Roca and Choker has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Choker is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. De La Roca looks calm but he's in trouble here. Choker gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. De La Roca is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Choker lets go of the hold and De La Roca can pop his arm back in it's socket.
