Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zan Gadeno (ranked 4054 p4p, 5442 weight class) and Francisco Bustamante (ranked 216 p4p, 242 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zan Gadeno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco Bustamante! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gadeno shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bustamante as he jumps to the side. Bustamante stuffs the takedown attempt from Gadeno. Gadeno gets slowly back to his feet. Gadeno gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gadeno is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Bustamante wants to get back to striking at distance but Gadeno won't allow it.
Gadeno goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bustamante prevents it.
Bustamante looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zan Gadeno. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gadeno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bustamante misses with a takedown attempt - Gadeno sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It looked like Gadeno was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Gadeno works over Bustamante's head and body with a nice combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gadeno blocks a head kick by Bustamante.
Bustamante gets a clinch. Gadeno wants a takedown.
Bustamante breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bustamante misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gadeno paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bustamante slips a jab from Gadeno. Bustamante feints the counter takedown. Bustamante is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gadeno's half guard. Bustamante not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gadeno wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bustamante controlling the pace. Gadeno is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bustamante jumps into side control! Bustamante postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gadeno manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Gadeno is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bustamante wants to improve his position but Gadeno is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bustamante wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bustamante gets back to full guard.
Gadeno looking to sit in guard and control but Bustamante gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bustamante is looking to pass into half guard but Gadeno pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gadeno is in guard. Gadeno won't allow Bustamante to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bustamante is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bustamante wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Let's hope that Bustamante has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Gadeno lands a couple of decent looking shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bustamante seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gadeno looking to pass the guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zan Gadeno will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Bustamante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gadeno tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bustamante manages to circle out of the way. Gadeno dives in and scores a takedown into Bustamante's guard. Bustamante wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gadeno manages to pass to side control. Gadeno is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bustamante can do to turn this around? Nice strikes from Gadeno there. Bustamante is pressing down on Gadeno's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gadeno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gadeno stops Bustamante from standing up. Gadeno trying to control but Bustamante is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bustamante controlling Gadeno's posture. Bustamante keeping moving, preventing Gadeno from controlling successfully. Gadeno is really struggling to control Bustamante but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gadeno will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bustamante has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gadeno wants to control from the top but Bustamante keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bustamante instigates a clinch. Bustamante stalling.
Gadeno jumps guard but Bustamante stands there with Gadeno around his waist. Gadeno gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bustamante wants to get back to striking at distance but Gadeno won't allow it.
Gadeno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bustamante shoots in looking for a takedown. Gadeno tries to sprawl out of it but Bustamante keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gadeno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bustamante defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gadeno. Bustamante gets in close and instigates a clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Bustamante decides to pull guard. Gadeno would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bustamante holds on and takes a little breather. Bustamante preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gadeno preventing the sweep. Bustamante utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bustamante is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gadeno is aware though and is defending well. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bustamante has control of Gadeno's left arm, preventing Gadeno from doing any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gadeno misses with a takedown attempt - Bustamante sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zan Gadeno. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bustamante moves into range and clinches up with Gadeno. Bustamante throws a knee to the head but misses.

Francisco Bustamante showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Bustamante tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gadeno defends well and Bustamante ends up having to push Gadeno into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bustamante shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gadeno but Gadeno pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bustamante throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bustamante shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gadeno as he jumps to the side. Zan Gadeno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Bustamante. Gadeno gets a double leg takedown into Bustamante's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bustamante keeping full guard, as Gadeno tries to pass. Gadeno wants to control from the top but Bustamante keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gadeno is fighting to break Bustamante's control of his arms but Bustamante is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bustamante keeping moving, preventing Gadeno from controlling successfully. Bustamante pulls Gadeno in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gadeno really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gadeno darts in looking for a takedown but Bustamante gets double underhooks and turns Gadeno into the cage. Bustamante pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bustamante looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gadeno is fending him off so far but Bustamante persists. Nope, Gadeno circles away and we're back to standing. Gadeno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bustamante paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bustamante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gadeno goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bustamante shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gadeno sprawls well. Gadeno wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bustamante gets slowly back to his feet. Gadeno half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Bustamante has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bustamante fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gadeno avoids it really well and circles away. No luck for Bustamante with that takedown attempt. Bustamante throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gadeno drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gadeno trying to control the position from guard on top but Bustamante is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bustamante manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gadeno manages to get himself to full guard.
Bustamante is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gadeno is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bustamante defends well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bustamante sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Zan Gadeno showed his dominance in that final round. I think Gadeno has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
